How we vet our partners

MyExpatGo is not a moving company. We are the platform that helps you plan, price and execute an international move — and the only thing we can put our name to is the checking we do before a company is allowed anywhere near your shipment. Here is exactly what that check involves.

The seven-point verification framework

Every company in the network passes all seven checks before it can be matched, and is re-checked while it stays in the network.

Professional accreditation
We confirm each accreditation the company claims (FIDI FAIM, IAM, BAR, LACMA, IMA and similar) directly against the issuing body's own member register — not against a logo on their website.

Insurance verification
We ask for evidence of marine transit / all-risk cover and liability insurance, and check that the policy is in force and covers the shipment types the company handles.

Route capability
We check the corridors a company actually moves households on — origin and destination countries, agent network, port and airport access — so matching reflects real experience, not a global claim.

Compliance & licensing where relevant
Where a corridor requires it, we check licences such as customs brokerage, NVOCC or freight-forwarding authority. Not every route requires a licence, and we only show one when it applies.

Ongoing network review
Verification is not one-off. We re-check accreditations and insurance periodically, track customer feedback from matched moves, and remove partners who stop meeting the standard.

Two different things carry two different meanings, and it matters which one you are reading.

Our own check. We have confirmed the company's legal identity, insurance, accreditation claims, route and service capability, and any licences required on the corridors it works. We re-check periodically. It is not a quality guarantee and we do not perform the move.

Accredited by a third-party organisation

An independent industry body — FIDI FAIM, IAM, BAR, LACMA, IMA, ISO and others — has audited the company against its own published standard. That accreditation belongs to the company and the issuing body, not to MyExpatGo. We only confirm that the membership is genuine and current.

Verification is a documentation and capability check carried out by MyExpatGo. It is not a guarantee, warranty or endorsement of the service any third-party company will provide on your move. Your contract for the move is with the moving company, not with MyExpatGo. Always read the partner's own terms, insurance cover and liability limits before booking.

Each partner is published in the same standard format, so you compare like with like rather than logos. A sample of the network — you are matched only with partners relevant to your route.
